If your new to town, visiting, or a local, this place is a must- to stop and check out, even have a cute little gift shop.
Cool place with lots of history and knowledge. None of it was interactive. Not a place kids would really enjoy. Just a building full of information.
Despite Mr. Denner's review, I definitely recommend visiting this NON-PROFIT museum that is funded solely by donations. You can definitely learn a lot of interesting facts covering Lincoln's life. The museum is small, with some parts of the building in need of minor repair. It's not overly noticeable, though. Well worth $3 for adults and $1.50 for children under 12.
Nice homage to the roots of our greatest President
I drove the car back from Cave City to Ohio and specifically stopped at the square of this small town with only 4-digit number of residents to have a visit to the museum. The little town is themed with Abraham Lincoln and the museum covers the lifespan of the well-known president. Portraits and sculptures, together with some files are displayed. Only $3 is required. You can take a rest and visit if you drive pass there.
